‘ Abandoned’ Bonnie Bird Theatre- London

I was super lucky to have some of the best dancers in my year at Laban for this piece who encapsulated the feeling of what I wanted to represent to a T. “Abandoned” explored the discomfort of feeling lost in your own skin, socially ignored as well as left, abandoned with no support. A feeling of hopelessness in a sense. Again, a representation of something that we may all feel at times but hide behind in order not to show how we really feel. I tend to like to express these places at times. It is through getting out of the dark and dealing with it. However there is always light at the end of that tunnel.
