‘Esspressivita’ – Commonwealth- UK

I was commissioned to create a piece for another prestigious event for the Queen’s secretary general of the Commonwealth, UK. Again, with a group of talented dancers, I was able to give the audience a taste of the various aspects of Contemporary dance. As we had limited space and an excited audience crowding around the periphery, it was quite the experience trying to fit in all the lifts and choreography. It was super exciting to be so close and although it was clearly Contemporary dance, the audience seemed quite blown away with the lifts and movement and thought it was gymnastics . Quite hilarious!
